**Quality Assurance Lead**
R/GA is seeking a Quality Assurance leader who can thrive in a high paced, high volume, dynamic landscape to deliver compliance, quality assurance, document management and other continuous improvement tasks that supports our Technical design and build output for our clients through constant innovation.

**The Role**
R/GA Australia are looking for a talented and proactive Quality Assurance Lead to join either Sydney or Melbourne office and help push the current Technology offering to the next level of excellence. Working across both offices, this role will work with the Technology director and the broader team in Sydney and Melbourne to drive innovation and opportunities across our portfolio of clients.
A Quality Assurance Lead (QA Lead) is part of the R/GA Technology team, a team of perpetual problem solvers who are always seeking new and innovative ways to help bring products and services to life. A QA Lead functions as the critical conduit between multiple disciplines and must partner with Experience Strategists, Systematic Designers, Product, Technology Directors, Technology Leads, and Senior Business Analysts to define and deliver solutions of high compliance and quality for our clients and do so in a disciplined and rigorous way.
Here's what you should know if you want to be a Quality Assurance Lead at R/GA:
On any given day you might
- Grow, manage and support a mixed team of QA specialists.
- Recommend to internal technology stakeholders and client stakeholders (technical and non-technical) the appropriate process, QA strategy and frameworks to bring experiences to life.
- Understand team (individual and collective) strengths and weaknesses and balance workload and tasks accordingly to promote best results.
- Estimate work time and effort with precision.
- Facilitate and contribute proactively to sprint process, daily tasks, and team workload efficiently, while communicating progress, blockers, and goals clearly with the bigger team.
- Carry out regular release reviews, enforce testing best practices, test coverage and security testing.
- Jump on hands-on test execution and automation to help QA engineers or developers in the team to get tasks done and remove blockers.
- Enforce clear, cohesive, comprehensive and well-written technical testing documentation at all times, in-code files and external documentation (diagrams, technical design document, technical approach, summary deckware).
- Enforce security guidelines around test execution, documentation, non-disclosure agreements and client confidentiality at all times.
- Educate and inspire QA and broader teams with emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Educate and inspire non-technical teams around the use of testing tooling and modern methodologies.
- Create user stories and define acceptance criteria to ensure we are delivering a complete solution against product requirements
- Work with designers to review wireframes and designs and ensure they fulfil feature requirements and account for scenarios and edge cases.
- Collaborate with technical leads and engineers to aid in performing evaluations against possible deployment and release schedules
- Partner closely with Tech Leads, BAs and Producers to ensure that acceptance criteria of user stories is being properly met and verified throughout the development process.
- Work with the Technology Director and engineering team to verify feasibility and quality assurance needs and dependencies around feature specs and product requirements.
- Helping the Technology Director identify and understand new opportunities with existing and new clients.
