Cannoleria is a unique concept that specialises in the traditional Sicilian dessert, Cannoli.

Cannoleria started in 2018 after a successful collaboration between multi-award-winning cheesemaker Giorgio Linguanti from That’s Amore Cheese and Chef Dario Di Clerico.

The company is rapidly expanding with now 5 Cannoleria stores across Melbourne, one Cafe located at our HQ (UGO Cucina Popolare), a wholesale department, and an event and catering department, we are now seeking a Part-Time Marketing Coordinator/Social Media Manager to join our team and help us push our start-up to the next level

Being part of a small business means you will have to multitask and adapt. Our in-house Marketing department has just been created so be prepared to work on a blank canvas. You will have to put in place systems and procedures to grow the department to the next level.

The ideal applicant must have the expertise to enhance our brand and develop our broad online community through our various social media platforms and:

- Have at least 1-3 years of experience in a role with social media, marketing, and content creation exposure;
- Be knowledgeable and passionate by the food industry;
- Create content that will catch maximum user interest;
- Write and reviewing content for our website, social media pages, and public communications;
- Be highly proficient with content creation for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook;
- Be Highly proficient with EDM;
- Be Highly proficient with graphic design with tools such as Canva and Adobe Suite;
- Be Highly proficient in IT with knowledge of Microsoft suite as well as the latest apps and programs;
- Have significant experience in mobile photography and mobile video creation for reels, TikTok’s, posts and other social media advertising;
- Have strong understanding of Google SEO and SEM products;
- Be able to visit our stores and pop-ups/events regularly for content creation;(sometimes outside of regular business hours)
- Liaise with PR agent for planned campaign and events;
- Be able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team;
- Be able to multi-task and good attention to detail;
- Have a strong knowledge of market trends and segment;
- Be fluent in English is mandatory, and some knowledge in Italian language and culture is advantageous.

You will be part of a small, young and enthusiastic team with a high standard of quality. This is a part-time position, located at our HQ in Heidelberg West 3081.
- Job Type: Part-time
- Part-time hours: 24 per week
- Starting Salary: $26.00 per hour after tax + super
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Ability to commute/relocate: Heidelberg West 3081: Reliably commute or planning to relocate (required) we are located near Latrobe Uni Campus (Bundoora)
