**Social Media & Web Contractor (Part-Time)**

**Location**: West Footscray, Melbourne / Remote
**Hours**: 16-20 hours per week (Preferably Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays) - Flexible hours
Positon: Contractor (part time)
**Rate**: $30 per hour
**Reports To**: General Manager

We’re looking for a creative and strategic **Social Media & Web Contractor** to help grow our brand, engagement and sales. If you love digital marketing, storytelling, and food, this role is for you

**Digital Marketing & Content Strategy**
- Manage and grow our Instagram & Facebook audience.
- Create engaging social media content - posts, reels, stories, collaborations, giveaways, blogs and develop EDM content plan.
- Develop partnerships with influencers, bloggers, and other brands aligned with San Elk’s values.
- Optimize website content for SEO and e-commerce growth.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads).

**Website & Sales Growth**
- Increase web traffic, sales, and conversion rates.
- Reduce cart abandonment, inctresde bsket size and improve customer journey.
- Plan and run promotions, giveaways, and upselling strategies.

Web design feature improvements
- Implement SEO optimization site traffic and Google ratings, customer reviews.

**Social Media Growth & Engagement**
- Grow social media followers and increase engagement on Instagram, Facebook, tiktok
- Develop a style guide for branding, photography, and graphics.
- Plan and create engaging visual and written content and post regulalrly.
- Develop Instagram Story/reels highlights, Linktree, and web links for conversions.
- Expand storytelling beyond recipes—showcasing San Elk’s family story, ingredients, chefs, retailers, and team.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that reflects San Elk’s values and mission.
- Design and send monthly EDMs with fresh content.
- Ensure product pictures, pricing, NIP’s and product descriptions up to date.
- Promote new products, specials, brand updates and review copy where necessary.
- To maintain and ensure look and feel is on brand and constantly reviewed.

**Marketing Strategy and Campaign Management**
- Plan and oversee campaigns for product launches, promotions, and events.
- Work on projects and targeted winter campaigns
- Report on ROI for campaigns.

**Reporting & Performance Tracking**
- Provide monthly reports on key metrics and marketing impact.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform marketing initiatives.

**Collation of recipes/images**
- Link recipes across various platforms (Facebook, Tiktok, Pintrest and website)

**What We’re Looking For**

**Experience & Skills**
- Some food experience or a real passion for premium foods and digital marketing
- Strong content creation skills (design, photography, video, writing).
- Proven ability to grow social media engagement.
- Experience with SEO, Google Ads, paid social media ads.
- Ability to understand a brand and how to drive it for brand and sales growth
- Knowledge of implementing digital marketing concepts such as SEO, social media, display and affiliate channels.
- Confidence in traffic analysis, reporting tools and optimisation.

- Available for a weekly check-in meeting with the General Manager.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
