**About the role**

This position is responsible for leading and coordinating the simulation team in developing capability in delivering and embedding simulation as a widely used form modality of education. Working interprofessionally to incorporate translational simulation within the organisation

**Key responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day support of the simulation team
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team to enable provision of high quality opportunities across all WH sites
- Work collaboratively with the education leadership team to design learner centred education based on educational theory

**About you**:

- Minimum 5 years of acute clinical experience
- Minimum 2 years education experience
- Experience in development, implementation, assessment and evaluation of educational programs
- Highly effective interpersonal skills
- Hold or working towards a Masters qualificatiion with an educational focus
- Leadership experience

We also operate Sunbury Community Hospital, Sunshine Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre, Melton Health and Community Services, Bacchus Marsh Community Health Centre, Caroline Springs Community Health Centre and Grant Lodge Residential Aged Care in Bacchus Marsh. Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
