One Data Analyst opportunity within a Federal Agency for an initial 12-month contract.

Hays is working with its client, A Federal Agency. You will be working as a Data Analyst in a multidisciplinary team that works on a combination of longer-term analytical research.

**Your new role**

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards or willingness to learn
- Experience in an analytical computer language for statistical analysis and automation (e.g. R/Python)
- Experience with preparing reports, briefs and other documents to a high standard
- Experience working with and analysing public economic, social and/or regional data (e.g. data published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics or MADIP and BLADE)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

**What you'll get in return**

In return you will secure a competitive hourly rate with an initial 12-month contract with one 12-month extension options.
