We currently have a full-time role for an Experienced Transport Scheduler in our client's Scheduling Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, innovative and rapidly growing company.

**The Opportunity**

You will be working in a large, dynamic scheduling team, bringing your industry experience and meticulous approach to our growing team. This includes working alongside several established scheduling specialists, as well as playing an integral part in the communication and development of our team.

The opportunity will best suit an individual with previous experience scheduling bus services. You should be experienced in using a number of HASTUS modules, as well as hold a comprehensive understanding of transit data structures.

**The Job**

Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, we are looking for an individual with a background in Transport Scheduling to join an industry leading team committed to high quality outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Work actively in the Live Database, executing structural changes to transit data and associated internal systems, ensuring up to date information is accessible by depots and drivers.
- Analyse and assess the performance of actual and scheduled data to evaluate and influence change and promote high quality service delivery. This includes the analysis of large datasets, creating solutions and dealing with transit data related queries as they arise.
- Manipulate and derive transit scheduling information relative to adjacent departments for purposes of planning, route and trip analysis, tenders, submissions and proposals.
- Demonstrate an open-minded approach to guide the improvement of existing methodologies and action positive change.
- Devise solutions and outcomes to create network efficiencies through the analysis of scheduled data in order to meet internal and external directives.

**Essential Skills/Experience**
- A minimum of 3 years experience in scheduling bus services.
- Previous experience in using HASTUS Scheduling Software
- Can demonstrate strong levels of logical reasoning.
- MS Office skills, with Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills relevant to data analysis and manipulation, including the ability to produce meaningful reports.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the structure of and components of transit data, and how they ultimately impact our customers.
- Be patient and meticulous in approach. The role has a high threshold for accuracy and quality of data. We work within requirements to provide accurate and reliable information to our customers.
