The KPMG Project and Program Delivery team offer multi-disciplinary planning, design, and delivery services, across all phases of the project lifecycle, from visioning to delivery.

We provide clients integrated project management, PMO, project controls, estimation, cost control, project delivery, planning and design and, contract compliance and assurance advice using data-driven tools and methodologies and provide practical and reliable project support services.

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Director, Planning and Scheduling. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who is passionate about building and growing a high-performing team, possesses strong technical expertise in the infrastructure space, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional client outcomes. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business development initiatives, fostering client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand our service offerings.

Your Opportunity

As part of the Project and Program Delivery team, you will work closely with our clients to support their strategic infrastructure investments by scoping and delivering major projects. This role can be based in either Sydney or Brisbane.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support clients in successfully navigating complex projects from development of early master schedule to delivery and delay claims assessment.
  • Support the growth and development of up-and-coming leaders in scheduling and project controls.
  • Drive business growth, by providing strategic oversight, to enable growth in broad sectors and markets.
  • Champion a culture of high performance, transparency and accountability, delivering on commitments both internal and externally for our clients and stakeholders.

Your Experience

  • Extensive experience using scheduling and planning software's, including but not limited to oracle P6, Procore and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in leading teams and delivering major projects across various sectors and markets.
  • Strong analytical skills including experience in both creation and reviews of Schedules and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
  • Natural people skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with our clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Qualifications

Engineering and Project Management qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
