**About Us**

The **Hotel Windsor **is an iconic Australian hotel embodying the architecture and elegance of a European style 'Grand Hotel', situated on Spring Street and located at the 'Paris' end of Melbourne. Our beautiful hotel is looking for a **full-time Restaurant Supervisor **to join our team.

As the Hotel & the group as a whole (including Restaurants Sunda, Aru, Parcs, Kudo Bakery and the upcoming Antara 128) prepare for a dynamic and exciting future we are looking for dynamic, confident and service-minded individuals to join our team.
You will have the opportunity to share in this journey with us whilst working and learning from some of the most experienced professionals in the industry.

**About the Role**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing service and motivating the team to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
- Taking reservations, organising the floorplan, and greeting and seating guests
- Providing on-the-job training to staff on all aspects of service as well as presentation and grooming
- Ensuring compliance with service standards and business policies
- Overseeing cleanliness & maintenance of the restaurant including hygiene & safety standards
- Staff scheduling and rostering
- Conducting daily briefings to communicate necessary information
- Ensuring a professional work environment and maintaining of accurate records

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 2 years experience in a hotel or fine dining environment
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Excellent customer service skills, including confidence when dealing with complaints and resolution should the need arise
- A positive attitude that is aligned with our company values and culture
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and show initiative
- Ability to adapt and succeed in high-pressure service periods
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and concisely
- Curiosity and a desire to expand your knowledge
- Experience using SevenRooms and MICROS Symphony highly regarded

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
