HQ Group's (Arbory Bar & Eatery, HER, Straight Up Cocktails) annual pop-up bar and restaurant, AFLOAT, is back to grace Melbourne's CBD from September through to June.

Nestled on the North side of 'Birrarung', AFLOAT transforms each year with new fit-out and theme, drawing inspiration from our favourite international holiday destinations.

Season 10's re-launch brings a familiar face back to Melbourne's hallmark summer social scene; with the venue's interior, design, food & beverage offering, music & entertainment program and a reminder that the good times are right around the corner.

As a key part of the AFLOAT and Arbory Bar & Eatery team, you'll bring the vibes, guide the crew and seek enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Food & Beverage Supervisors for Season 10. If you are passionate about leadership & development, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests, we encourage you to apply.

What we are looking for

Hospitality is at your core – you're approachable, welcoming, and positive

A passion for creating a fun and engaging environment for both our guests and staff

Demonstrated supervisory/management experience: shift management, venue operations, POS, RSA management, lead by example

Excellent communication and organisation skills; give feedback, support, direct and nurture our staff

Solid food, beverage, and cocktail knowledge

Sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards

Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
