Byron Shire Respite Service (BSRS) are focused on providing care and support older people with diverse needs, their mission is to Enrich the Living and Ageing Experience while enhancing the quality of life for people in the community and in their homes. Byron Shire Respite Services provides aged-care, home-based care, centre-based care and runs social support activities in Ballina, Lismore, and Byron Shires The centre of operations is in Brunswick Heads.

**The Role - Operational Coordinator**

Reporting to the General Manager, The Operational Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the operations of (BSRS) and the Brunswick Valley Community Centre, for ensuring a life-changing service can be delivered. The Operational Coordinator will manage all aspects of administration and financial management, including payroll, and be the first point of contact to the organisation.

Part-time, flexible hours.

**As Operational Coordinator you will**:

- Champion change within the organisation, specifically business process and digital transformation
- Manage financial systems, including payroll
- Coordinate and manage office administration
- Support implementation of digital systems including administering Client Management System (CMS)
- Act as point of contact for external phone calls with superior customer service
- Under direction of GM, assist in risk, governance, and compliance
- Coordinate internal/external meetings
- Coordinate meetings, preparation, minutes, reports etc

**Your Skills and Attributes**
- Proven experience using XERO
- Demonstrated ability to use CRM systems, ideally salesforce
- experience in bookkeeping and office administration roles
- Analytical and adaptive thinking
- Strong administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- demonstrating flexibility in the work environment
- High level of communication skills, both verbal and written with an attention to detail
- Commitment to a high level of customer service with internal and external stakeholders
