We are a Tier 3 community housing body and the largest Specialist Homelessness Service in Regional NSW. We operate 9 crisis shelters, a Community Centre and more than 50 outreach properties, housing over 150 people across the Central Coast every night.

At Coast Shelter, you’ll be joining a team of committed staff and volunteers who work to end Homelessness and Domestic and Family Violence within our community. **The Role**

The position is responsible for the development, management, and operation of five Youth Shelter’s across the Central Coast assisting young people 16 to 24 years old who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The position is responsible for ensuring practice, operations, environments, processes, and interventions are consistent across service delivery sites.

The position represents Coast Shelter in raising awareness, providing education, and giving a voice to the issues of Homelessness and Domestic and Family Violence on the Central Coast. The Regional Youth Services Manager builds productive relationships with key partnerships across service delivery regions, including contacts with service providers, community agencies, regional networks, industry, government, and other stakeholders relevant to Youth Services.

The position has five direct reports and is part of Coast Shelters management team reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

**All about You**

You are innovative leader who is passionate about developing teams and people. To be successful in the position, you will have extensive management experience and have worked supporting Youth with complex needs, this could include mental health, alcohol & other drugs, trauma, and long-term homelessness.

We are looking for someone with:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in related discipline, bachelor level or higher and extensive relevant sector experience
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated leadership experience in developing staff and teams, preferably in a not-for-profit setting across a number of operational teams
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated case work experience working with young people
- Excellent relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills with experience working with a range of stakeholders including families, government and community groups
- Excellent language, communication (both written and oral) and presentation skills
- Strong project management skills, with proven ability to manage timelines, budgets and meet key performance indicators
