**_Powerlink Queensland have a perfect career opportunity to join us a Civil Construction Advisor as part of a dedicated project delivery team in a highly respected transmission utility._**

**About the role**:
This is a career opportunity for you to contribute significantly to the delivery of safe and efficient civil site construction activities across Queensland.

You are motivated by partnering with site construction contractors delivering the best possible project outcomes.

You will quickly have to establish yourself as the on-site expert in providing civil construction advice to support successful planning, execution and commissioning of Powerlink Infrastructure projects across Queensland.

You are the go-to-person for civil construction technical guidance of electrical infrastructure works, confirming quality assurance and ensuring compliance with Powerlink’s project delivery standards.

**About you**:
Ideally you are well versed in high voltage power systems particularly transmission lines and/or substations, secondary systems and/or telecommunications.

You are recognised as an on-site expert in the provision of technical support and advice in the planning and civil construction of high voltage transmission infrastructure projects.

You have an Associate Diploma or equivalent qualification in a Civil Construction discipline or a relevant Trade Qualification and significant demonstrated planning and civil construction experience that allows you to provide technical leadership and coaching to staff and contractors regarding civil construction works in an electrical environment.

You are open to travel to and work in regional areas in Queensland to support our Queensland wide project delivery program of works.
