**About the Role**

The role of Communications Coordinator ensures forefront positioning of Excelsia College among other Higher Education Providers in communications and digital marketing.

**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Leverage marketing strategies to write and collate engaging communications material that will appeal to prospective students seeking their next step in Higher Education.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure communication campaigns and projects are delivered successfully and on time.
- Produce and preview written and visual communications content for purposes of increasing the online profile and position of Excelsia College as a provider of excellence in Christian Higher Education.
- Build and execute communications strategies, policies and campaigns to recruit and retain students for the College's courses, meeting specific target set for student enrolment.
- Contribute ideas and hands-on support to video production projects for the purposes of Excelsia storytelling and marketing campaigns.

**Selection Criteria**

Qualifications and Professional Standing:

- Tertiary or Post-secondary qualification in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field, with 2 - 3 years working experience in similar role/s.

Essential:Committed
- Christian, involved in a local congregation.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing the implementation of Social Media, digital marketing strategies, SEO and online advertising and promotional strategies.

Knowledge and experience in contemporary marketing, communications and promotions principles and practices.
- A working knowledge of or practical experience in a Higher Education setting is an advantage.
- Ability to manage complex tasks, challenging projects and competing deadlines concurrently.
- Excellent literacy, writing, editing and proofing skills and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically and engage in storytelling.
- Collaborative working style with an ability to work within a team in a hands-on capacity to achieve individual, team and organisational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work appropriately with students, faculty, and administrators, independently as well as in a busy team environment.

This full-time position is based in Macquarie Park.
