Fleet Maintenance Manager

Located in Brisbane seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to join the team. In the role you will be responsible for the maintenance of all QLS and Sub Contractor Vehicles

**Duties & responsibilities include**:

- Direct activities related to tracking transportation vehicles,
- Plan, organise and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organisational requirements,
- Liaise with third-party repairers,
- Order parts and facilitate work schedules for the workshop,
- Transport vehicles, trucks and trailers to repairers where required,
- Drive operational costs down without compromising the operational effectiveness of the fleet,
- Liaise with Senior Management on the day-to-day operations of the company.

**Back up to our Country Fleet Allocator and understand all aspects of their role which may include**:

- Planning and allocation of deliveries
- Driver's run sheets/time sheets
- Liaising with customer and drivers
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls
- Creating transport routes based on business and customer needs
- Developing and maintaining relationships and rapport with all staff and drivers

**Experience & skills required**:

- Previous experience as a Transport Allocator
- Preferably HR, HC or MC licence accredited,
- Knowledge of the Queensland country areas
- Current knowledge of Fatigue rules and regulations
- Ability to effectively plan and organise driver runs
- Proactive and organised, with the ability to problem solve
- Ability to adapt to new technologies
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Driven and passionate about the transport industry
