**The opportunity**
The **Technical Advisor - Capital Planning and Asset Renewals**is responsible for:
- Providing engineering expertise to internal and external stakeholders in the development of concept designs for major water and sewer infrastructure projects.
- Managing key capital renewal programs in alignment with operational maintenance and inspection plans.
- Building relationships with various external stakeholders and to coordinate CHW’s renewals programs with external stakeholder’s capital works projects where appropriate.

- Relevant qualifications and experience
- Project Management fundamentals
- The ability to select and exercise an appropriate range of analytical, problem solving, and investigative skills/techniques.
- The ability to negotiate and consult with a wide range of project stakeholders
- A high degree of competency in both oral and written communication, particularly in preparation of reports.
