**About the role**

Health and Safety Advisors and Coordinators at Grampians Health are part of a great multidisciplinary team of specialists and generalists. Working with specific areas of the health service, our team bring expert knowledge and skills to support workers and managers achieve positive outcomes in all aspects of the workplace. The core duties are to:

- Support and advise operational directorates on effective systems and process
- Provide expert advice on technical health and safety matters
- Engage in continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the team and its stakeholders
- Influence our safety culture

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **For Advisor role**:

- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline and/or substantial experience within the health and safety profession.
- Experience in identification and assessment of hazards and incident investigation
- **For Coordinator role**:

- Willingness to obtain health and safety qualifications in the first year of employment
- **General**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) or equivalent and/or experience in designing, coordinating, delivering and evaluating training programs/tools.
- Demonstrated experience in initiating and managing projects.
- Experience in a health care setting would be highly regarded.
