**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Based at our Somerton Location the Accounts Officer will partner with a fun and approachable team. You will bring your enthusiasm, sound administration skills and your passion for collaboration to the role.
**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure that consumer and supplier accounts are set up and maintained with all required information
- Attending to and resolving client and supplier enquiries enquiries
- Following-up on overdue debtors balances in line with organisational policies
- General Accounts Receivable and Accountants Payable duties
- Performing account reconciliations
- Extensive administrative support to the wider office
- Answering and responding to all incoming calls
- Updating and maintaining internal databases
- Ad hoc duties as required
**ABOUT YOU**
**Essential**:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills, the ability to multi task, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
- An in-depth understanding of the role Accounts Officer (Receivable and Payable) plays in a business
- Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, including the ability to export and manipulate data in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work autonomously, a self-starter, as well as being a team player.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
This role would suit one person or two people who are open to job share. There is onsite parking and training provided.
