**About the Centre**

The City of Melbourne is redeveloping the Kensington Community Aquatic and Recreation Centre (KCARC) located within JJ Holland Park in Kensington. The new $68.2 million environmentally sustainable facility is due to open Mid 2025 and will feature: a heated 25 -Metre 8 Lane Pool, 700 m2 Health Club, three multi-purpose courts, three large flexible spaces and a Café.

**About the Role**

As our Group Fitness Team Leader at KCARC, you will inspire and motivate a team of passionate Group Fitness Instructors. Together with the Health and Wellness Team Leader you will work to ensure that the delivery of programs and services meets agreed standards.

The successful applicant will be a member of the leadership team, and will be proactive in contributing ideas and resolutions to centre-wide issues.

The responsibilities of this role include oversight of the GF rosters at both facilities, contributing to strategic goals and supporting growth in retention of members.

This is a part-time position and the hourly rate is $31.67 + Super & Y Benefits

**About You**

The successful applicant will be well organised and passionate about all things Group Fitness

Furthermore, your strong leadership skills, and and attention to detail will ensure our members love coming to our classes.

You will ideally have experience in the area of Pilates (particularly Reformer Pilates).

**Essential Qualifications**
- HLTAID009- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011- Provide First Aid
- Current Fitness Registration

**Other Desired Qualifications**
- Group Fitness Qualifications
- such as Pilates, Les Mills, Yoga, or Zumba
