**Role Description/Criteria**

Holy Rosary School is a Catholic school of 250 students, in Kensington, 4kms from Melbourne's CBD. We are a committed and friendly staff who work with wonderful students in a strong and supportive school community. We believe powerful learning is engaging and challenging. We seek a passionate, inspiring and innovative Learning Diversity Teacher/Wellbeing Leader to work as part of a collaborative team to build on the strengths of our school.

This position is offered for a two year tenure. This position is for 3 days per week but consideration may be given to combining it with classroom duties to extend it to 5 days.This is a POL 1 position.

**Key Selection Criteria for Learning Diversity Teacher and Wellbeing Leader.**

Applicants should have demonstrated experience in:

- developing strong partnerships with staff, students, parents and parish, and MACS staff
- working as part of collaborative teams
- strong organisational, planning and administrative skills
- meeting the diverse needs of learners
- Positive Behaviour for Learning and behaviour support
- the NCCD process
- 'Child Safe' practices
- creating a culture of care, inclusion and wellbeing for all community members.

**Special Requirements**

The successful applicant will:

- have an understanding of the ethos and traditions of the Catholic Church
- have VIT registration
- be accredited to teach in a Catholic School
- be eligible to work in Australia
- have additional professional qualifications (desirable)
- commit to Holy Rosary School's Child Safe policies and the Code of Conduct.
