**About the Centre**

The City of Melbourne is redeveloping the Kensington Community Aquatic and Recreation Centre (KCARC) located within JJ Holland Park in Kensington. The new $68.2 million environmentally sustainable facility is due to open Mid 2025 and will feature: a heated 25 -Metre 8 Lane Pool, 700 m2 Health Club, three multi-purpose courts, three large flexible spaces and a Café.

**About the Roles**

As our group fitness instructor, you will be responsible for leading a variety of group fitness classes and coaching a wide range of clients. You must have exceptional communication skills to effectively inform and demonstrate the benefits of participating in our classes. You must also be organised to ensure that our classes run smoothly and efficiently.

We are looking for instructors to teach a wide range of classes, these include
- Les Mills Pump and Attack, Yoga, Reformer Pilates, Older Adults, Aqua, Zumba, Boxing and HIIT.

This is a casual position with a starting hourly rate of $62.25 + super.

**About You**

You will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for health and fitness. You will possess exceptional communication skills and can effectively motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals. You will have a deep understanding of various training styles and methods, and can cater to the needs of a wide range of clients during our classes.

You will need experience in taking group fitness classes to be successful in this role.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Certificate III or IV in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader Certificate or approved equivalent
- Relevant certificate for the fitness class you teach
- Maintain current fitness registration (role dependent)
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
