The Equipment team is responsible for fleet acquisitions, fleet management, international maintenance and continuous improvement so that Toll can continue to provide service quality.

**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced Permits & Accreditations Officer to join our Equipment team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Equipment Design Manager, you will provide centralised management and support for equipment compliance tasks in the Permits & Accreditations space. You will manage and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and accreditations for Toll Group's operations in accordance with local, regional, and national regulations.

As the Permits & Accreditations Officer, you will:

- Administer equipment permits & accreditations including Performance Based Standards (PBS), National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) and Main Roads WA, road access and other related permits and accreditations
- Administer and set new equipment compliance schedules required under permit or accreditation requirements
- Record & investigate data to ensure compliance
- Liaise with government and other regulatory agencies as needed
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand operations and requirements for all programs that for part of the Regulatory requirements. This includes EWD, user guide for driver, mass reports setups
- Ad hoc administrative/data entry duties as required (i.e. purchase orders)

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience in permits and road transport compliance
- Ability to provide advice and input to Equipment Compliance Manager on initiatives and issues
- Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle regulations, standards, practices and policies
- Thorough and practical understanding of CoR
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills
- Microsoft office suite expertise including Word, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
