Exciting opportunity to join a well known health service provider as an Assistant Facilities Manager **Your new company** One of the largest public health services state-wide, this company provides a range of health services to individuals and communities throughout the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. As a successfully high-performing organisation, this company is looking to add an Assistant Facilities Manager to their team on an initial 12-month contract, starting immediately. **Your new role** As the Assistant Facilities Manager for this company, your responsibilities will include: - Allocating and monitoring works for internal and external staff and manage Work Orders as required - Being first point of contact for all external staff and contractors, reviewing and monitoring contractor’s licence and permits - Management of regular service providers and 7 staff - Repairs to ensure hospital is up to correct health standards - Holding regular team meetings - Engaging and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders where relevant **What you'll need to succeed** To be successful in this role, you will have: - Relevant tertiary qualification or experience within Engineering, Building, Project or Facilities Management - Strong Microsoft Office skills - Experience within the construction/maintenance industry is highly desirable - Knowledge of building regulations and requirements - Strong communication skills building relationships with key stakeholders **What you'll get in return** - $45-$55 per hour + Super - Opportunity to work in a large and expanding institution - High potential for a 12-month extension and permanency - Work vehicle provided for between site visits - Excellent team culture **What you need to do now** If this role isn't quite right for you and would like to hear more about other opportunities, please reach out for a confidential discussion about your career.
