he Settlement Coordinator is a key operational role which will see you effectively manage all relevant actions and processes associated with various settlement exception scenarios.
You’ll be accountable for maintaining an exceptional level of customer service, efficiency, and productivity, adhering to relevant internal policies and procedures, and management of settlement related escalated cases and complaints.
This is a hands-on role which will involve building up SME level knowledge of PEXA’s processes and procedures including understanding of the core system, settlement ‘engine’ and associated exception handling scenarios including critical BCP scenarios.
In addition to building and maintaining strong networks both internally and externally, the role will include real-time monitoring activities, administrative duties, and working with key stakeholders across the business to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Continual monitoring of all scheduled settlements through the PEXA settlement dashboard;
- Identifying potential issues, exceptions or incidents that may impact the success of the settlement transaction and implementing remedial action as required;
- Liaising with 2nd and 3rd level support and/or key business partners to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient and effective manner;
- Where necessary, engage PEXA customers as well as integrated service partners to resolve issues to achieve the best outcome by providing support, direction, problem solving and training in a timely, thorough and professional manner;
- Have expert knowledge of PEXA’s Business Continuity Plans and act as coordinator of the Support Services processes when invoked;
- Execute Settlement Support Business process including the management of the PEXA Source Account, unapplied/misapplied funds and any other relevant processes;
- Proactively manage service levels and escalate as required where service levels are at risk;
**What you'll bring to the table**:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a a role reconciling payments or settlements of some kind
- Attention to Detail
- High level of Numeracy
- Strong Analytical skills
- Experience within the finance, banking or legal/conveyancing or technology industries is highly regarded;
