**About the Role**
The role of Continuous Improvement Analyst - HR Systems and Payroll will will primarily be responsible for reviewing compliance with relevant HR and Payroll requirements for our network of staff across both our Medical Practices as well as our Support Office as well as implementing process change and efficiencies. This role is an initial project with a view to permanency.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Pay code review. Review pay codes to ensure that they are configured correctly for superannuation and employment taxes.
- Classification review process. Confirm process for classification reviews is operating effectively and that employees are classified correctly.
- Casual conversion process. Confirm process is operating effectively and that casual employees are being offered conversion when appropriate.
- Time recording process. Review time recording processes to ensure that rosters and actual time worked is being recorded consistently and accurately.
- Identify and improve HR and payroll processes, with a focus on automation.
- Wage compliance testing. Ensure that salary and wages are being paid correctly in accordance with relevant industrial instruments.
- Leave accrual & payment testing. Ensure all leave types (personal, annual and long service leave) are accruing correctly and paid correctly (including leave loading).
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement,
- Payroll process and controls review. Ensure payroll processes and controls are documented and operating effectively.
- Review HR Analytics and presenting reports

**What we are looking for**
- Experience working across Payroll and HR processes
- Experience with HR Reporting and Analytics
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Previous experience with Tanda and IntelliHR is highly regarded but not required.
- A positive mindset and enjoy working in a team environment as well as independently
