The role of the Service Delivery Manager - Middleware and Integration is accountable for the run of the middleware and integration platforms and governing Suncorp’s strategic partners. You will lead and motivate your team with enthusiasm ensuring quality outcomes for Suncorp and our partners.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a new industry framework using the Momentum model - an evolution of Agile. As Suncorp is at the beginning of our Momentum journey you will be fundamental in helping to build this new delivery model.

**What you’ll do**:

- Govern IT partners to deliver best in class end to end ITIL Run services and monitor these outcomes both operationally and strategically
- Work with platform teams to formulate ideas and how they can accelerate delivery into production with quality; understanding dependencies that may impact the successful delivery of projects
- Ensure adherence to Suncorp’s SIAM framework
- Provide support, lead and execute when required:

- Change, Release, Deployment, Problem and Incident management.
- Cost optimisation initiatives.
- Risk management activities.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Direct management of 4 engineering staff and indirectly manage up to 20 partner staff
- Actively participate in creating and maintaining a highly effective, engaged team and a collaborative relationship between Suncorp and the Managed Service Provider

**What you’ll bring**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of:

- Infrastructure Services or app/software development
- Vendor management/governance.
- Working with partners.
- Developing design documents and end to end process mapping
- Solid technical background however you do not need to be an expert in Middleware and Integration
- Good understanding of the business, market and external environment. Experience within Financial Services would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Knowledge of Service Management - Change, Release, Deployment and Incident Management
- Ability to effective lead and inspire a team, strong leadership attributes essential. You do not need to have prior leadership experience but must demonstrate your capability to create a strong team environment with a can-do attitude
