We're looking for a Stakeholder Engagement Lead to join our Corporate Affairs & Social Value team. This is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary role that blends stakeholder engagement, communications, and social value.

You'll:

  • Lead engagement and communications for ASL's Consumer Trustee responsibilities under the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap.
  • Ensure consumer perspectives are embedded into our programs and operations.
  • Drive social value initiatives, engaging with advocacy groups to strengthen ASL's social licence.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible messages for diverse audiences.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across consumers, energy advocates, government and industry.

We're after someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, public affairs, social value, or consumer advocacy, ideally in energy, infrastructure or government.
  • A track record of turning stakeholder insights into strategy and action.
  • Exceptional communication skills – written, spoken and interpersonal.
  • Deep understanding of consumer and community perspectives, with resilience and judgment in complex environments.
