**Your Role**

As the Head of Academy, you will be responsible for spearheading the development of Gro's clinical training into a premier academy, ensuring that our workforce remains resilient and our competitive edge is sharpened. Your primary focus will be to create, manage, and oversee the delivery of comprehensive clinical training programs. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, from doctors and nurses to the executive team, as well as external clients and suppliers.
- Lead Gro Academy's evolution into a world-class clinical training hub.
- Develop and curate engaging training content, including e-learning modules, guides, videos, and other learning materials.
- Plan and execute training programs, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Drive change in the training structure to align with business growth and service excellence goals.
- Guarantee high-quality induction and onboarding experiences for new appointments.
- Collaborate with Practice Managers, training doctors, and the sales team to facilitate Academy sessions.
- Mentor and support the doctors-in-training, nurses, and assistants with effective coaching techniques.
- Analyse and refine the training methods based on feedback and effectiveness assessment.
- Maintain awareness of industry advancements and represent Gro at relevant conferences.
- Uphold a strong commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Lead a small team effectively, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Maintain organised digital systems for efficient documentation

You will also have:

- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- A relevant qualification and/or 2+ years' experience in a similar role (such as skills assessment and training)
- Experience building induction and training programs in a clinical environment
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Creative approach to developing engaging training materials and systems.
- Proficient leadership skills with the ability to nurture a culture of learning.
- Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and anticipate challenges.
- Familiarity with management accounts, budgets, and profit statements.
- Passion for client care excellence and best practices.
- Resilience and focus in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative and open approach to working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel interstate when needed
