Convergint is looking for a part-time, enthusiastic, results driven and customer focused Payroll Administrator to join our amazing team. The position is a 3 day a week office-based position with standard business hours. Some flexibility may be required during payroll deadlines and audits.

**The Role**

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and supporting related administrative tasks. This role involves maintaining payroll records, assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and organisational policies.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Assist in preparing and processing payroll for all employees
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system
- Assist with preparation of payroll reports and audits as required
- Ensures compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and regulations pertaining to Payroll
- Respond to employee inquires, regarding payroll, deductions and payments
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

**Skills & Competencies**
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in payroll administration or a related role.
- Hight attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet payroll deadlines
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Solid knowledge of Outlook; Excel skills
- Experience with Employment Hero payroll system are highly preferred
- Security or Construction industry experience are highly preferred
- Understanding of payroll laws, regulations
- Knowledge of and understanding of Industrial Instruments, Awards, Enterprise Agreements
