Talent International is searching for experienced Revenue Manager to join our hospitality client and manage revenue across 3 of their hotels/properties. This is a permanent position based on the Gold Coast.

**About the Role**:
The purpose of this role is to implement Rate and Inventory strategies to ensure all properties have the right rates sold through the right channels at the right time across all distribution channels.

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Group Director of Revenue & Distribution to implement the required policies and procedure documents as they relate to revenue management principles and practices.
- Ensure that all revenue management strategies are communicated to property General Managers, and sales teams; ensure all property revenue management strategies are implemented, maintained and measured.
- Work closely with General Managers on all aspects of revenue maximisation across all distribution channels.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly statistics and monitor trends utilising company report
- Have a clear understanding of all revenue related statistics at all of your properties; i.e. Competitor trends and statistics; Average Length of Stay, Average Lead Time of reservations and cancellations, allotment materialisation by room type and agent, pick up trends by market segment and price demand by season and market segment.
- Use revenue related statistics to provide a fortnightly forecast for each property - focusing on forecast accuracy in line with KPIs set with Revenue Manager
- Strata Management Analysis by room type and daily reviews of the minimum return to owner.
- Full knowledge of Pricing Structure and current above and below the line rates in market for each property.
- Proactively recommend any changes to rate and inventory strategies and communicate these through to the Group Director of Revenue & Distribution and General Managers.
- Manage the Demand Calendar for each property
- Build relationship with distribution partners to proactively identify yielding opportunities.
- Coordinate the updating of all OTA’s, ensure rate parity with all group channels.
- Oversees the Analysts role and checking their work to ensure offers are built in all systems correctly and accurately review all group bookings by viewing business on the books and forecasted revenue, lead time and total value of the group/s; make decisions based on profitability of group and ensuring that revenue received will be greater than revenue displaced
- Ensure all distribution channels always have rate and inventory parity
- Monitor Central Reservation System (TravelClick) and Property Management System (Opera) to ensure inventory is balanced
- Assist Group Director of Revenue & Distribution to set pricing and distribution strategies for annual rate setting in order to achieve maximised room revenue at each property.
- Foster an environment of cooperation and synergetic efficiency between the properties and all other departments and Team Member in the central office
- Embrace change and demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement
- Complete Strive responsibilities at required times for Revenue Analysts
- Lead Project Management within the Department - upgrade and rollouts for the forecasting system used (Ideas)
- Strata Management Experience required to manage changing inventory, strategizing short - mid-long terms stays and pricing of each strategy. Forecasting is essential
- Tertiary Education in Hospitality, business, or a related discipline in Revenue Management
- Highly developed analytical and conceptual ability
- Demonstrated commercial acumen in a fast paced, evolving high growth environment
- Demonstrated ability to be a key contributor to the development and implementation of strategic financial plans for the organisation unit
- Five to seven years’ experience in a similar role
