**About the Role**

We are currently hiring a Full time Civil Engineering Technician to work in our Dandenong South, VIC Warehouse.

**Skills and Experience**

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Confer with project supervisors to determine details of a project and requirements for each project
- Read and review project drawings and plans to determine the sizes of structures and specific designs as required by the client.
- Calculate the amount and type of materials needed for each project
- Confer with engineers to prepare relevant plans and drawings to share with the design team
- Develop accurate plans and estimate costs for constructing systems and include the information in the file.
- Use computer aided design (CAD) software to draft project drawings
- Observe project sites to ensure that construction conforms to design specifications and applicable codes and adherence to the guidelines.
- Prepare reports and document project activities and data
- Provide support to civil engineers in the design, construction and management of a variety of projects
- Ensure the project matches client specifications
- Develop dimensional drawings for project elements using computer-aided drafting programs or preparing material specification documents for contractors

**Work location**: 80 Prosperity Way Dandenong South VIC 3175

**Working Hours**:38 hours / week, Monday to Friday - 7 am to 3 pm

**Work experience**:

- At least 3 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Technician

**Education**:

- Diploma or higher in Engineering

**Other qualities**:

- Ability to follow instructions
- Self-motivated and be able to work independently and in a team
- Good attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
