We are recruiting a qualified **Diesel Technician / Mechanic** to join our busy **Engine Repair & Rebuild **workshop (Head Hunters) on a 5 x 2 (Monday - Friday) working roster.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Workshop Team Leader, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all types of Caterpillar equipment and components.

**Your typical day will look a little like this**:

- Rebuilding engines from all makes/models
- Assembling short block, long block and complete arrangements
- Compiling and completing accurate reporting
- Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Work alongside a high performing team, who are passionate about the gear they work on

**ABOUT YOU**

**You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role**:

- A fully qualified Diesel Technician with 5 years minimum rebuild experience
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment D&A screen and functional assessment
