Annecto - the people network is an independent, not for profit association committed to increasing opportunities and choices for people with a disability, older people and their carers. **What’s the Job?** The role of Team Leader - Programs of Support exists to provide leadership, support and guidance to the Programs of Support Staffing Team of Support Workers. The incumbent will ensure that a high quality service is provided to people accessing the Programs of Support services. Some of the key components of this roles are: - Lead and plan support for people we support within programs and in the community to participate in a range of life areas - Contribute to roster development - Participate in the interview process of staff recruitment - Plan for staff capability including identification of role expectations and performance requirements - Review staff decisions and performance - Inform staff on Annecto policies and standards - Implement quality improvements and process changes **What we need from you**: > Experience within the disability field and sound knowledge of the sector and/or relevant life experience that would enable you to work positively with the people we support. > Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse group >Experience managing staff >Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative >Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially with people from different backgrounds and with different communication modes and styles. > Demonstrated experience in working with people at all levels in a medium to large organisation with multiple sites > Current Victorian Drivers Licence > Be vaccinated against Covid 19 including Booster Vaccination #3 > Possess an NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance or be willing to obtain one You should be eligible to work in Australia. - Annecto is a child safe and equal employment opportunity employer.
