**About Lizard Centre**:
For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant to join our team in Strathpine. Your role will involve working directly 1:1 with a child, implementing individualised behavioural therapy programs If you have a genuine interest in making a positive difference in the lives of others, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home/clinic/school
- Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation
- Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement
- Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience working with children with complex needs and behaviours of concern (min 1 year)
- Confidence to work with children that may display/engage in challenging and aggressive behaviours
- Must show initiative and be comfortable to engage with children of complex needs
- A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential

**Requirements**:

- Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You'
- Australian Driver’s License & Vehicle
- Laptop/iPad - you will be using your own device for sessions
