**About the role**:
Join our team as a Regional Manager Client Relationships and unlock the potential of our high-performing state-based Client Relationship teams. We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven leader to ensure the preservation of our employer and member base while driving the growth strategy of our fund.

As the Regional Manager, you'll report to and support the Executive Manager, Client Relationships and New Business. Collaborating closely with the Member Experience team and senior management, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, enhancing employer and member retention, and supporting our overall fund strategy and objectives.

**Some Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a high performing Client Relationships team across multiple states and territories (VIC, WA, SA, NT)
- Ensure that Hostplus’ employer partners receive exceptional service, and understand the value of partnering with Hostplus.
- In collaboration with the Regional Manager (NSW) and Executive Manager Client Relationship and New Business, identify ways to continually enhance and improve our client engagement frameworks, with a focus retention and growth outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key employer stakeholders and industry partners to support the retention and growth of Hostplus’ highest value employers and associated membership
- Continually reinforce delivery to our client service frameworks, national account guidelines, objectives and expectations across certain states and territories.
- Supervision in accordance with General Advice licensing requirements of direct report duties and responsibilities.
- Support the Executive Manager with the management of all identified Client Relationship risks and associated controls.
- Ongoing training, development and coaching of direct reports.
- Support the Executive Manager Client Relationships and New Business in the development and execution of the annual Client Relationships strategy and associated Business Plan
- Work closely with the Manager Workplace Education and Wellbeing to implement the workplace education strategy for all serviced employers, leveraging a range of in person and digital educational deliverables
- Attendance at industry and partner events, conferences and awards programs. This will include a limited number of evening and weekend events across the year
- Completion of regional quarterly service operational reporting as relates to employer and member service levels and deliverables
- Identify and develop opportunities and maintain relationships with prospective employers as well as ensuring the smooth transition of any large new business
- Distribute Hostplus superannuation and related financial products to prospective employers/members
- Undertake ongoing training required to be an approved representative of Hostplus. This is compulsory to comply with the ASIC regulatory requirement RG146 to allow approved representatives to provide general financial advice under the Hostplus Australian Financial Services License
- Maintain all requirements necessary to hold a Proper Authority under the Hostplus Dealer’s License.

**About you**:

- Proven track record of leadership and management in Financial Services industry, preferably within Superannuation
- Proven ability to lead a large geographically diverse team
- Ability to implement and lead successful account management and sales strategies
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
- Technical proficiency in all matters superannuation
- Understanding of risk management and the need to design and manage departmental risk controls
