About the program

The Intern program provides students with 12 weeks of paid employment, giving you the opportunity to participate in the industry-leading oil and gas projects while acquiring practical skills relevant to your field of study.

We also provide education and training during the program to help cultivate your professional skills within a diverse, inclusive, supportive, and collaborative workplace.

About the role

During the Intern Program, you will work with experienced HSE professionals in activities which support workforce health and safety, and the protection of our environment within our operations and the communities where we work. You can also expect cross-functional opportunities that increase your business knowledge as you collaborate to deliver results.

This role will be based in Chevron’s new building at One The Esplanade.

Eligibility / Requirements

To be eligible for the Chevron Intern Program applicants must be:
- Eligible to legally work and live in Australia permanently.- In their penultimate or final year of an undergraduate degree or postgraduates.- Available for a full-time work (Monday to Friday) throughout the duration of employment from 24 November 2025 until 20 February 2026 with the week of 22 December off work).- Effective communication skills with strong analytical skills and a focus on teamwork and collaboration.- Committed to Chevron’s values of diversity and inclusion, integrity and trust, high performance, partnership and protecting people and the environment.
