Due to continued business growth and increased client demand; we are seeking an HS&E Advisor for a field-based role on a 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist site personnel in the development of site and task specific risk assessments.
  • Ensure employees comply with SAFE Work Procedures (SWP's).
  • Assist with the development of safe work procedures (SWP).
  • Assist with the co-ordination and maintenance of VOC processes and systems.
  • Compile and facilitate regular safety meetings and safety discussion topics during daily pre-start meetings.
  • HSE information/incidents are communicated and discussed during pre-start meetings.
  • Implement training programs, including training employees in HSE procedures and systems.
  • Manage site specific HSEQ projects and initiatives.
  • Undertake workplace inspections and assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Conduct incident investigations in the form of 5 why's process as well as ICAM methodology.
  • Liaise and effectively communicate with clients when required

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role (4 years)
  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Drilling Experience either operator or contractor (Highly Preferred)
  • Experience in hazard identification/Risk management.
  • Conducting investigations/Audits with ICAM and Root Cause Analysis competencies.
  • Strong understanding of:

    -Safety systems

    -Risk mitigation

    -Injury management

    -Workplace compliance
