**Position Overview**:
As a Health and Safety Consultant at Safetec Safety Solutions, you will be responsible for providing specialist guidance and support in all matters related to health and safety.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and continually improve safety systems that foster a safe working environment for all.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Utilise a keen eye for detail to assess and identify potential safety hazards and risks within various operational processes.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to effectively plan and prioritise safety initiatives.
- Employ strong communication skills to interact with client teams, individuals, and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of safety expectations and guidelines.
- Implement practical safety solutions by working closely with client's to execute safety processes and provide hands-on continual improvement as well as holding others accountable for their safety obligations.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills to address safety concerns, incidents, and emergencies swiftly and effectively.
- Cultivate a continuous learning mindset, staying updated on the latest industry trends, safety technologies, and regulations.
- Collaborate seamlessly within a team environment, sharing insights, contributing to safety-related discussions, and supporting colleagues.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to the well-being of all individuals within an organisation and a dedication to achieving the highest safety standards.
- Uphold a solid work ethic by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a results-oriented approach in all tasks and interactions.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma of WHS (at a minimum)
- Proven experience in health and safety roles
- Certification in relevant safety standards (ISO) highly desirable but not a deal breaker
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- Exceptional communication skills to convey safety concepts clearly
- Effective problem-solving skills to assess and address safety challenges promptly
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving safety practices and regulations
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Strong ethical values and genuine concern for the safety and well-being of all individuals

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
