We are looking for an exceptional Learning & Development specialist to join our People & Culture team.
**About the role**
The focus of this position is on foster and support the professional development of our staff in addition to other P&C support and strategic projects. The role will be responsible for end-to-end training and development processes including supporting career pathways, building and delivering training programs, managing a Learning Management System, and streamlining processes to improve efficiency.
The success applicant will:
- Work collaboratively with the People & Culture team to provide effective service to the business in relation to Human Resources service, with a particular focus on learning & development including:
- Induction & Upskilling
- Career development and pathways
- Talent Development
- Learning & Development
- Employee Engagement
- People projects and change management support
- Develop and administer L&D initiatives to support SEC Newgate's objectives and strategy
- Design, manage and support the implementation of our L&D framework and program
- Assist in the allocation and management of professional development and training budgets
- Develop, facilitate, and deliver relevant and impactful in-house learning interventions
- Oversee program delivery including scheduling and calendar management and organising necessary training resources
- Identify and manage learning management systems and processes for tracking, recording, and reporting of learning programs
- Advise senior leaders on managing L&D initiatives and assist with building specialty training programs for their teams
- Support talent development by working closely with leaders to analyse and ensure all staff have appropriate development plans in place
- Assist leaders with individual training needs analysis and provide solutions
- Assist leaders in identifying career path opportunities as well as proactively preparing the business for future resource needs
- Liaise with the Global P&C committee to promote and support best L&D offerings
- Participate and contribute to the achievement of the overall People strategic plan and special projects as identified by the People & Culture Committee
- Contribute to activities that support our culture and values, increase employee satisfaction and engagement.

**Your practical skills and experience should include**:
- Qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources or Psychology degree or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in providing quality outcomes in HR, people or learning roles (5+ years) including an understanding of Learning and Development and Organisational Development program design, implementation, and facilitation
- Absolute integrity & professionalism in dealing with confidential information or situations
- Able to quickly develop an understanding of the business practices and operations
- Confidence in building relationships with stakeholders to provide advice and recommendations and deliver fit for purpose learning solutions
- Ability to engage and build networks amongst all levels of staff
- Excellent written/verbal skills
- High-level Microsoft Skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
- Effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational, project management and time management skills
- Committed to ongoing professional development
