Are you passionate about inspiring young people through sport? Do you thrive outdoors, love mentoring, and want to lead a team that creates real change through fun, fitness, and connection? Juiced Up Groms is on the lookout for a dedicated **Sports Development Officer** to join our dynamic crew.

**About the Role**
In this leadership role, you'll guide the design and delivery of sports-based mentoring sessions. You'll support a small team of junior coaches, help young people build confidence and coordination through structured play and athletic activities, and ensure every session is inclusive, fun, and impactful. This is more than a job - it’s a mission to promote personal growth through physical movement and positive engagement.

**Key Responsibilities**
Lead and structure movement-based mentoring sessions, adapting them to individual abilities
Support and mentor junior coaches to build a strong and positive team culture
Help plan activities that encourage skill development, teamwork, and active participation
Track participant progress and collaborate with the wider team to refine support plans
Foster an energetic, respectful, and safe environment for all participants
Assist in coordinating sports events, community outreach, and program logistics
Encourage commitment, confidence, and connection in each child you work with

**What You’ll Need**
Previous experience in youth sport, coaching, or recreational programs
Ability to take initiative and lead a team with confidence and compassion
Strong communication and organisational skills
A high level of energy, positivity, and adaptability
Passion for helping others grow through movement and mentorship
Competence in documenting outcomes and using digital tools (e.g. Google Suite)

**Mandatory Requirements**:
Blue Card (Working With Children Check)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Current Driver’s Licence and access to reliable transport
Availability for regular weekly sessions (minimum 4 days per week)

**Bonus Points If You**:
Have worked with children or young adults with disabilities (including NDIS participants)
Are a qualified personal trainer, youth worker, or educator
Bring creativity and fun to coaching through games and engaging challenges
