Within the Rail & Technology Systems sector, UGL is a leading provider of integrated systems for communications and rail infrastructure projects. Our services include infrastructure building and asset management, rail systems, signalling and communications, tunnel, and intelligent transport systems.

The **_Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager_** will form part of the Project Management team, and will be assigned to various Projects that come under the remit of the WA Project office. This role shall be the primary contact to engage, communicate and manage relationships with the team, client, members of the public and related works. This includes but is not limited to:

- Local residents, community members and the general public
- Owners and patrons of local businesses
- Impacted motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists
- Community interest groups
- Member of the media
- Transperth passengers
- Ensure UGL’s adherence to the clients’ Communication and Stakeholder Management Plan, and other overarching plans and documentation.
- Manage the development and delivery of communication activities undertaken by UGL to keep members of the public informed of Project progress and impacts, respond to stakeholder queries and maintain a positive public image for the Project.
- Prepare and manage the implementation of the UGL Communications and Stakeholder Management Plan (CSMP) across the project team and subcontractors.
- Shall ensure UGL comply at all times with the privacy principles and any associated policies, and notify the PTA immediately of any suspected breaches of privacy.
- Responsible for ensuring there is pro-active, ongoing and up-to-date interfacing and communications with the Client.
- A Bachelor of Communications or a relevant discipline (desirable)
- A current Drivers Licence
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Rail and/or Technology experience and exposure, or exposure to multidisciplinary functions
- Strong network and client relationships in the Rail, Power and Communications industry
- Experience of commercial, contractual, and legal issues in the rail environment
- Strong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels, both internally and externally.
