Compliance Lead

As our Compliance Lead, you will be part of a high performing team that works collaboratively with stakeholders across the bank, third party business providers and statutory bodies to ensure that all prudential and regulatory requirements of the bank are effectively evaluated and implemented.
**About the Role**
- Working closely with the head of compliance, this role will work across all facets of Line 2 compliance as well as provide ongoing maintenance of our compliance program. As a senior, you will be relied upon for your knowledge across the team and also become an SME across the business for compliance matters.
- Accountable for updating and maintaining our obligations register including oversight of prudential and operational obligations to regulators i.e. ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC, OAIC, ACCC etc.
- Manage the regulatory reporting calendar, maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legislation and support periodic Compliance reports including CRO report
- Review and maintain our internal regulator correspondence register
- Assistance with reviewing and investigating complaints (IDR/EDR)
- Stay up-to-date on evolving regulations and industry best practices to ensure informed decision-making.
**About you**
- You have good understanding of relevant regulations and compliance frameworks applicable to the banking/financial services industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
