**About the role**:
**We are looking for an experienced and motivated cleaner to cover a period of extended leave for 4-6 months on a fixed term contract.**

**This is a Full Time position working 35 Hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm.**
- You will ensure that all areas of the residence are kept hygienic and presentable
- Contribute to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors
- Cleaning in line with all chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standards
- Ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained
- Identify and report maintenance issues for our residents, ensuring they are escalated in a timely manner

**About you**:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, you also:

- Demonstrate a high level of kindness and respect for residents’ property and privacy
- Have previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment (preferred but not essential)
- Have sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals and safe work practices (preferred but not essential)
- An understanding of infection control procedures
- Work effectively and efficiently with mínimal supervision as required and as part of a team
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

- A current Working With** Children Check card**:

- Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Australian working rights
