**About the Company**

Our client, a leading aviation company based in Mascot, is dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in their industry. As a Category Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to strategic procurement initiatives.

**Responsibilities**

As a Category Analyst, your role will entail two primary functions: refining the overarching Sourcing Strategy within the category and providing invaluable support to the category team in their management and sourcing activities. Your responsibilities will include leading investigations into market dynamics and supplier relationships, utilising complex data analysis techniques to uncover synergies and opportunities throughout the procurement process.

Your key tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Conduct analysis for RFPs, including data interpretation and reporting.
- Engage with stakeholders to tailor analysis based on project requirements.
- Drive market investigations and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Draft reports and presentations to support strategic decision-making.
- Assess CPI exposure and conduct supplier send analysis.
- Manage contract databases and provide contract support.

**Required Skills**:

- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and presenting data (Think Cell expertise preferred).
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Previous experience in analytics within Procurement/Finance preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
