**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement exploration plans and strategies to identify new copper deposits in Central Africa;
- Manage a team of geologists and field technicians to ensure the safe and efficient execution of exploration programs;
- Oversee exploration budget and ensure that exploration projects are completed on time and within set budget;
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including government officials, local communities, and other stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations and best practice related to exploration.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree qualification in a geoscience discipline or related field;
- Prior experience working in a mineral discovery management position with a focus on base metals;
- Strong technical skills in geological modelling, data analysis, and general exploration methods;
- Experience managing exploration programs in Africa is highly desirable;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and social responsibility.
