The opportunity:
As a Club Manager at our Port Melbourne club, you will join a vibrant and collaborative team where no two days will be the same. You'll be a motivating and inspiring leader who will drive your club to succeed. This varied role will see you be a nurturing leader who motivates their team and encourages their development and growth and manages the overall financial and operational aspects of your club.
You will lead by example with your exceptional customer service and proactive sales approach in generating membership growth and retention. You will be integral in shaping the club culture into a place where your staff love to work, and your members love to work out.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of sales budgets and analysis to determine proactive strategies for improvement.
- Meet your own sales target to contribute to the club's overall monthly and annual targets.
- Leading in the delivery of exceptional member experiences and the successful resolution of member concerns.
- Recruitment, training and retention of staff members.
- Performance appraisals.
- Monthly meetings engaging with the personal trainers, sub contractors and staff.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Leadership experience managing a sales team with 5+ direct/indirect reports in a high volume and fast paced environment. Ideally within the fitness industry.
- Strong stakeholder management with exceptional verbal, written and time management skills.
- Experience in managing budgets, monitoring & reporting on P&L.
- A passion for fitness and sales.

- Expected salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
