A great opportunity

When it comes to HR, this role will give you a taste of everything, including:

• Supporting the growth of our organisation by attracting top talent who align with our vision, mission and values
• Providing best practice HR advice to our operational leaders to build their own capability as a people leader in our organisation
• Supporting the Human Resources lifecycle including onboarding, training, benefits, engagement and retention, and performance management
• Contributing towards our collaborative organisational culture by developing and implementing engagement programs and initiatives, developing leadership capability and actively role modelling our values. To do this, it's not just about sitting behind a desk, it's about proactively engaging with our team in their work environment
• Managing workers compensation claims and return to work
• Managing the HR budget, preparing monthly reports on key HR metrics, and analysing opportunities to be progressive
• HR administration to ensure our employee records are always up to date
• Actively participating in HR projects across the group as we continually evolve the way we do things

What Success Looks Like

Our ideal candidate is passionate about finding greatness within already great people We're looking for someone who has:

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
• Demonstrated experience as a HR Manager with experience navigating complex people issues
• The ability to take off the 'corporate hat' and be agile in an industry that is continually evolving. Importantly this is an end-to-end HR role so you need to be willing to be 'hands on'.
• Values trust and establishes credibility and confidence in stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Expertise in providing solutions-based Human Resources advice and strategies to managers and the wider team.
• Experience in interpreting industrial instruments.
• Excellent organisational and administration skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
