**The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team in the role of **Marketing Coordinator - Graphic Designer **on a full-time basis. The purpose of this role will be to support the Marketing Manager to deliver on set marketing objectives and plans through the development of design content for digital and print platforms, sales support, and general duties as part of a small energetic team, including product testing and cooking, photography, video and animation.

**The position would suit a junior designer with sound skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, a passion for social media marketing and 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant field.**

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, some key responsibilities will include:

- Content creation using illustration, photo editing and layout software
- Supporting the team to cook and photograph great food for digital content and print advertising. A passion for food and food photography is highly regarded.
- Work alongside our senior designer to ensure design standards are consistent with company and brand style guides
- Communicate designs and concepts to the marketing manager before incorporating their recommended changes into revised designs
- Coordinate the day-to-day management and optimisation of our digital channels, creating inspirational, informative and engaging content alongside the team
- Participate in internal taste panels to support new product development
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest marketing trends (IRI/The Food People/Industry Newsletters and Articles/General Desk Research/store checks)
- Knowledge of print industry practices and setting up design files for print (preferred)
- Liaise with external printers or production teams to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality
- Adhere to and maintain marketing guidelines and procedures

As a key member of this team, the successful applicant must have:

- A passion for social media marketing, with knowledge and experience in developing and running digital marketing campaigns
- Interest in photography and video production, including filming and editing
- 1-2 years’ experience in graphic design (essential)
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, composition and the web including knowledge of the Adobe Suite
- Possess a compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Exceptional attention to detail (essential)
- Excellent copywriting and proofing skills
- Intermediate Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills (essential)
- Self-motivated and committed to meeting key deadlines with the ability to work independently and in a team
- A strong drive to seek insights and add value to our communications and the ability to cope with a complex, heavy and everchanging workload - prioritise tasks as directed
