What is the role?
We’re looking for a driven and passionate Pop Shop Coordinator to join our Brisbane Head Office on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will act as a business agent for Lorna Jane by promoting products and services outside traditional store locations, focusing on sourcing new leads, setting up concept stalls, and expanding business opportunities within local areas to attract new clientele.
What You’ll be doing
**As our Pop Shop Coordinator you’ll**:
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to maximize exposure and create partnership opportunities.
- Actively engage with customers at Pop Shop events, telling the Lorna Jane brand story, and providing “off the rack” styling advice.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to convert passive customers into active buyers, ensuring every interaction aligns with the brand's standards.
- Proactively source and secure new Pop Shop opportunities and leads to expand the customer base in untapped markets.
- Support store teams by participating in in-store events and activating brand promotions to drive sales growth.
- Research and identify new markets and clients, developing strategic business plans and sales strategies to capture these opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Communicate regularly with internal Marketing Coordinators regarding upcoming campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Prepare for Pop Shop events by securing necessary stock and promotional materials.
- Organise and execute Pop Shop events, ensuring all logístical details are managed, from setup to takedown.
- Coordinate with store teams and external partners to support events, maximizing reach and impact.
Who We’re Looking For
**We’re seeking someone who is**:
- Proven experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role, preferably within a retail or customer-centric environment
- Strong understanding of brand promotion, lead generation, and customer engagement strategies
- Familiarity with market research techniques and developing strategic sales plans
- Knowledge of local markets and demographics to identify and explore new business opportunities.
- Exceptional customer service and sales ability, with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with a diverse range of customers, team members, and business partners.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple events, promotions, and customer interactions simultaneously.
