How would you like to kick start your career in Planning with a position in the Statutory Planning service area at that will complement your studies?
We are looking for a motivated Town Planning student, who would love to gain invaluable practical experience from a passionate team of experienced professionals. This position will provide the successful applicant with a range of relevant experience in one of the leading, progressive local governments, which will put them in good stead for the future.

**How does it work?**
- Work part time while continuing to study until completion of your degree
- Possibility to work up to full-time during Uni breaks
- City of Cockburn will pay for 25% of the HECS fees (conditions apply)
- Possibility of a 12month full-time contract after graduating (At City's discretion. If offered, a further 25% HECS contribution will be made at the completion of those 12 months)
**The successful applicant will need to meet the following**
- Currently enrolled in an Urban Planning degree (full time or equivalent part time), and maintaining a satisfactory standing
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a busy, productive team environment
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- 'C' class drivers’ licence
**Salary**: Part time Level 2 - from $61,323.82 per annum (pro-rata) plus superannuation, sick leave and annual leave.
**Hours**: 2-4 days per week (negotiable) and possibly up to full time during university holiday periods, upon negotiation.
