We are looking for a motivated Environmental Health student in
the last year of their studies to be our next Environmental Health
Undergraduate. This opportunity will provide a student planning to
complete their qualification at the end of 2025, with practical
training and experience in Environmental Health industry, working
with a passionate team of Environmental Health Officers
**The City of Cockburn Environmental Health Undergraduates**:
work part time with experienced Environmental
Health Officers, whilst studying, until completion of their
Environmental Health qualification.
are eligible for 25% of the HECS fees to be paid by
the City, upon successful completion of their Environmental
Health units (conditions apply).
within the Public Health Service, gaining valuable experience
within a leading local government. This on-the-job training
provides a head start for future employment within Environmental
Health.
How does it work?
Employment to commence after the exam period.
You must be enrolled in an
Environmental Health qualification acceptable to the Chief
Health Officer, at Curtin University or Edith Cowan University
(undergraduate or postgraduate qualification).
**Hours**: up to 22 hours per week (over 3
days) and possibly up to full time during university holiday
periods.
**Salary**: $33.89 to $44.28 per hour (depending on
skills and experience).
